POSITION DESCRIPTION:
1) Contribute to the sales team's revenue growth, professionalism and esprit de corp.
2) Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales/revenue goals.
3) Effectively generate new clients and meet their needs through service and attention to detail.

KBAY and KEZR Radio, San Jose's premier radio stations and a part of NextMedia Operating, Inc., seek an aggressive ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE for its San Jose office. Position requires creativity and provides an opportunity to create and sell on air, internet, grass roots, and event based marketing/advertising programs to a variety of businesses.

Outside sales experience is preferred, but not required. An extensive training program is provided. Strong oral and written communication skills are a must. The Sales Account Executive position has enormous short and long-term earning potential and requires conceptual selling and negotiating skills. The ability to prospect and generate a large number of leads and face-to-face appointments is also a must.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Open position: Overnight Board Operator

KBAY/KEZR has an immediate opening for overnight Board Operator

Duties and Responsibilities

** Operates on-air consoles and controls and monitors transmitters.

** Answers radio station studio phone lines

** Light production including production of daily comedy feature

** Gather show prep materials for station's morning shows

** Proof read websites

** Help secure content for web sites

** Occasional special projects as directed by Program Director

** Help in quality control of commercial log and production

Qualifications

Knowledge of all applicable FCC Rules and Regulations

Understanding of each radio station's programming strategies

Computer literacy in applicable programs

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Problem-solving ability and skills in prioritizing

Ability to work independently without immediate direction or supervision

Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels

Ability to multitask and can handle pressures and deadlines

Knowledge of AudioVault and HTML preferable
